We’re partnering with a growing organisation in the utilities sector to recruit a People Operations Manager based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead people operations in a business that is evolving and investing in its workforce.
As the People Operations Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR operations. You’ll oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring processes, systems, and policies support both the business and its people.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day HR operations, policies, and procedures
* Leading and developing a HR/People team
* Driving improvements in HR systems, data, and reporting
* Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal governance
* Supporting payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes
* Partnering with senior stakeholders to enhance employee experience
* Leading on HR projects, including process optimisation and digitalisation
About You
* Proven experience in a People Operations / HR Operations leadership role
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Experience working within a regulated or complex environment (utilities, infrastructure, or similar preferred)
* Confident managing HR systems and data-driven decision making
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Leeds, offering c£55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
