Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Supply
Location: Worksop (S81)
Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on Experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor as a daily supply to join welcoming and forward-thinking schools in Worksop (S81).
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an essential role in maintaining continuity in the classroom by delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. This opportunity is perfect for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or individuals with school-based experience who are passionate about supporting young people.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-set lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.
* Support students with their classwork and encourage positive engagement.
* Maintain a calm, focused, and supportive learning environment.
* Follow lesson plans, provide feedback to teaching staff, and complete basic reporting tasks.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a school or youth setting is desirable.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Confident leading groups of students and delivering prepared content.
* A positive, proactive attitude and ability to adapt to different classroom situations.
* A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
