About the Client
Nominate Recruitment is partnering with a successful organisation based in Ballyclare to expand their Accounts department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage Accounts Payable process: process supplier invoices, compile monthly supplier payment runs, reconcile supplier statements.
2. Process interdepartmental invoices and allocate to cost centres.
3. Analyze and prepare employee expenses.
4. Compile monthly KPIs for decision-making.
5. Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
6. Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
7. Prepare and submit VAT returns.
8. Meet month-end deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
* Be part qualified or qualified (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). Candidates who are not yet qualified will also be considered.
* Previous experience with key duties such as managing accounts payable, preparing management accounts, stock and balance sheet reconciliations is highly desirable but not essential.
* Excellent IT skills, especially advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
