Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for the professional transportation of vehicles using our 7.2-ton 2 car transporter with trailer combination. Delivering brand new vehicles direct to their new owners on behalf of our clients. The position requires confidence in driving with a loaded trailer, as well as a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring vehicles arrive safely and on time. Key Responsibilities: - Safely load and unload vehicles onto the transporter, ensuring all vehicles are securely fastened. - Carry out a customer handover to demonstrate the basic controls of the customers new vehicle at delivery. -Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles for any damage before and after transport. - Drive the transporter confidently, adhering to all traffic laws and routes. - Complete deliveries that may require overnight stays as necessary. - Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, providing updates on transport status. - Perform regular checks and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure safe operation. Qualifications: -Working knowledge of the digital tachograph. - Valid Category C1 E driving license with a clean driving record. - In-date driver card and valid CPC qualification are essential. - Experience in driving 7.2-ton transporters or similar vehicles, with confidence in handling loaded trailers, preffered - Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight stays. - Strong knowledge of vehicle handling and safety procedures. - Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Physically fit to manage the loading and unloading of vehicles.
