In this role, you will:
This role will support the Head of Operational Resilience and Supplier Owners in managing our suppliers and partner relationships to meet strategic goals and deliver excellent customer service. The role holder will coordinate due diligence requests, support the selection and contracting of new suppliers, and ensure existing suppliers are managed effectively. Additionally, the role involves managing regular reports from suppliers and compiling management reports for the executive team to summarise performance and compliance across suppliers.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Support compliance with regulatory obligations, including SYSC8 and PRA outsourcing responsibilities.
* Manage the outsourcing framework from end-to-end: support onboarding and ongoing management of suppliers.
* Collaborate with supplier owners to ensure timely supplier reviews within framework guidelines and provide guidance on best practices.
* Consider Operational Resilience obligations in supplier interactions, including performance and conformance with SLAs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Manage the production of MI to demonstrate compliance and performance, and support escalation of material issues.
* Review contracts and due diligence artifacts meticulously for new and existing relationships.
* Create and oversee reporting to track contract renewals.
* Analyse invoices and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost management.
About you:
* Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, with experience in reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
* Experience conducting due diligence on third parties and managing contracts with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally, building strong relationships.
* Awareness of relevant regulations (e.g., SYSC8, Operational Resilience) is advantageous.
* Experience in supplier management, cost control, or budgeting is a plus but not essential.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills.
