Responsibilities:
As HR Advisor, you will report to the Director of Human Resources and play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient, and people-focused HR service. Your responsibilities will include:
8. Daily support to staff and the HR team on all HR matters
9. Providing guidance on disciplinary, grievance, absence, and parental rights issues
10. Monitoring and reporting on HR data (e.g., turnover, absence, engagement)
11. Managing recruitment and onboarding processes
12. Leading or supporting ER cases including disciplinaries and grievances
13. Supporting performance management, appraisals, and development plans
14. Ensuring GDPR compliance within HR processes
15. Administering payroll and pensions
16. Supporting learning and development initiatives including workshops
17. Championing equality, inclusion, and mental health support initiatives
18. Keeping up to date with employment legislation and best practices
Requirements:
19. CIPD qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous
20. Proven experience in a generalist HR position
21. Experience dealing with payroll
22. TUPE and redundancy experience
23. Disciplinary and grievance handling
24. Strong understanding of employment law and HR policies
25. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
26. Ability to interpret legislation and internal policies
27. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
28. Familiarity with HR systems and report building
