Role- Electrical Design Engineer
Salary- £30,000- £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Remote
My client work within engineering and they are looking to take on a Graduate / Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
* Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
* Have knowledge or experience of working with AutoCAD or similar electrical design CAD software
* Knowledge of electrical regulations and design
* Be able to do lighting and load calculations
* Any knowledge of Amtech, Dialux or similar would be ideal too
* Be able to work on a remote basis
* Be keen to learn and develop a range of skills
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:
* Working within the existing engineering electrical team
* Working with electrical CAD software like AutoCAD
* Doing lighting and load calculations
* Working on a range of projects
* Always looking at identifying areas for improvements
* Working with electrical schematics
