The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Middle Office Manager to join the Supply Chain Finance team with our client. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with high-value clients, managing complex transactions while supporting the bank's digital transformation initiatives.
The role offers significant exposure across the wholesale banking business, with opportunities for career progression into Coverage or Product Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Service Delivery:
* Directly manage relationships with key corporate clients for Supply Chain Finance and Forfaiting products
* Handle complex transactions and client queries, ensuring exceptional service standards
* Coordinate with relationship managers and product teams to deliver seamless client experiences
Deal Execution & Structuring:
* Structure and execute new facilities and transactions from inception to completion
* Prepare and review facility agreements, term sheets, and credit applications
* Manage the end-to-end process including compliance, documentation, and approvals
* Coordinate with legal, credit, operations, and compliance teams
Digital & Process Excellence:
* Support clients with digital platform onboarding and provide ongoing system training
* Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to Lean transformation initiatives
* Maintain client records and ensure efficient transaction processing
Risk & Compliance:
* Ensure all transactions meet credit, compliance, and regulatory requirements
* Support anti-money laundering and know-your-customer processes
* Handle escalations and resolve operational issues promptly
Essential Requirements
Experience:
* Minimum 10 years' banking experience
* At least 5 years in Supply Chain Finance (across Front/Middle Office and Operations)
* Proven track record managing complex client relationships
* Experience in deal structuring and execution
Knowledge & Skills:
* Strong understanding of wholesale banking products, particularly SCF structures
* Deep knowledge of credit, compliance, and operational requirements
* Excellent understanding of trade finance processes and documentation
* Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office suite
