Subsidence Technical Team Manager – Home Based
My client is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and inspire their Subsidence Engineers and Technical Team, delivering exceptional services for both domestic and commercial insurance claims.
About the Role
In this pivotal role you will ensure streamlined processes, compliance with SLAs, and outstanding customer experiences.
Key Duties
* Technical Leadership: Oversee complex insurance claims, guiding your team to deliver accurate assessments and effective solutions.
* On‑Site Expertise: Occasionally support surveying services and visit damaged properties to evaluate technical and insurance requirements for reinstating buildings.
* Strategic Impact: Drive operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer care.
* Lead and develop a team of desk‑based engineers and a technical field team.
* Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally.
* Drive performance to meet SLA targets and audit requirements.
* Provide training and technical guidance to internal teams and external surveyor networks.
* Production of management information on a monthly basis.
* Manage a portfolio of complex subsidence claims from inspection to resolution.
* Promote best practice and continuous improvement within the Subsidence Operations team.
* Understand, implement and comply with company procedures and policies, actively promoting the principle of treating customers fairly.
Key Requirements
* Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline, e.g. Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, or similar.
* Enthusiastic and self‑motivated.
* Excellent communication skills and articulation.
