Overview
Due to growth within Glen Group we are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Area Cleaning Manager to join a well-established and growing cleaning business in the Southampton, Basingstoke, Reading, Heathrow & Milton Keynes areas. You must be available to work Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the demands in your diary.
Responsibilities
* Cover cleaning which can be short notice due to sickness and annual leave.
* Plan site visits.
* Plan employee visits.
* Deal with on-site issues.
* Correct issues.
* Carry out on-site audits with clients.
* Communicate with employees.
* Train new employees.
* Provide refresher training to all employees.
* Be flexible with working hours.
* Work closely with the Area Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
* This is a hands-on position; 2 years commercial cleaning experience and 1 year management experience required; full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
* Demonstrate diplomacy with staff, customers and surroundings; be trustworthy, well-organised, flexible and reliable with a keen eye for detail.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role; excellent customer service and people management skills; ability to manage own time and visit sites and employees who work early and late.
* Reasonable IT skills preferred.
* Availability to work some weekends, depending on demand.
* Full UK clean Driving License required.
* Enhanced DBS check required.
* Commercial Cleaning: 2 years (required).
* Management: 2 years (required).
