Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or emotional and speech difficulties
* Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning activities and ensure all students can engage and succeed
* Encourage pupils to develop key life skills like confidence, independence, and communication
* Support behaviour management and contribute to a calm, inclusive learning environment
* Monitor progress and share insights with the SENCo and wider staff team
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate graduate who:
* Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
* Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (in schools, care roles, or through volunteering)
* Demonstrates a calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
* Is genuinely interested in a long-term career in education, child development, or therapeutic support
