With over 109 manufacturing sites, and 12,000+ employees, we are the Global #1 for prime labels.We are seeking to appoint a proactive and focused Financial Manager for our Cardiff site (Fixed Term contract 12 months). The Role In this exciting and varied role, you will:
1. Be responsible for the submission of month-end reporting to MCC Corporate Finance team in accordance to reporting timetables and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy. Also, preparation of routine monthly reporting schedules monitoring variances to budget, prior year and forecast.
2. Ensure all required statutory submissions (VAT Returns / Payments are completed wholly, accurately, and timely. Providing day-to-day authorisations, payments, credit notes etc.
3. Ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting. Successfully complete YE-audits.
4. Provide leadership and development of two locally based Accounting clerks.

The Person To succeed in this role you will have:
6. Experience as a leader and accounting manager with a strong operational focus.
7. Required education/experience: Chartered, ACA ACCA or CIMA with a minimum of 5 years experience in progressively more responsible positions.
8. Literate in Microsoft Excel
9. Able to perform advanced mathematical calculations
