We are seeking Trustees who can think creatively and strategically, with effective communication skills and the personal qualities outlined below.
What difference will you make?
As a Trustee, you will bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to our board, helping to broaden diversity of thought. No prior governance experience is necessary; we will provide full induction and training. As a small charity, trustees may need to be actively involved beyond meetings, such as scrutinising papers, leading discussions, providing advice, or representing the organisation externally.

What will you be doing?
Oxford Wood Recycling is a social enterprise focused on sustainable wood use and improving employability for those facing barriers to work. Trustees support the organisation’s strategy, oversee management, and ensure alignment with our mission. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting and advising on purpose, vision, and goals
* Approving strategies and policies
* Overseeing financial plans and budgets
* Reviewing financial statements
* Managing risks effectively
* Supporting the CEO
* Contributing to governance reviews
* Attending meetings prepared and ready to contribute
* Promoting Oxford Wood Recycling externally
