As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Roles & Responsibilities Assemble, install, and align mechanical components and machinery Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics Replace bearings, seals, gearboxes, motors, and other mechanical components Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation The ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within a manufacturing or industrial environment A recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience working with pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics (desirable) The ability to read technical drawings A proactive and safety-conscious approach Strong teamwork and communication skills Click apply now for more information.
