In fact, the company bonus has been paid every year for the past decade.Maintenance Engineer DutiesThis is a hands-on position supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation where you'll be trusted to diagnose faults, solve problems and help improve equipment performance.Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the siteFault finding on Siemens S7 PLC-controlled equipmentMaintaining and improving blow film extrusion lines and associated machinerySupporting continuous flow production equipment to minimise downtimeDiagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and implementing effective solutionsWorking closely with production teams to maintain output and efficiencyContributing to ongoing reliability and continuous improvement initiativesParticipating in a 1-in-3 weekend call-out rotaYou'll have the autonomy to manage your workload and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on site performance.Maintenance Engineer RequirementsPrevious experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturingMulti-skilled background with an electrical bias (approximately 60/40)Strong electrical fault-finding abilitiesExperience working with Siemens S7 PLCs from a fault-finding perspectiveExposure to continuous process or high-volume production environmentsA proactive approach to maintenance and problem solvingSomeone who takes ownership of their work and prides themselves on doing the job properlyExperience with blow film extrusion equipment would be advantageous, although engineers from similar manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.What's On Offer£43,000 - £45,000 basic salaryAnnual company bonus (paid every year for the last 10 years)Overtime opportunities availableDays-based role (8:00am - 5:00pm)1 weekend in 3 call-out rotaA stable, well-run business with long-term prospectsOngoing investment in equipment and continuous improvementIf you're a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding and wants to work within a business that genuinely looks after its people, it's worth having a conversation.If you'd like to know more, feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion.ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
