Job overview Closing Date: 16th November 2025 Shortlisting to take place after closing date: commencing 17th November 2025 Interview expected to take place in the week following shortlisting: commencing 24th November 2025 This is an exciting new post for an individual with previous administrative and/or healthcare experience to work on a range of clinical research trials in the Research Team based at Bradford Royal Infirmary, and with the potential to work with different specialties across the Trust The role will involve providing administrative and patient facing support to the Clinical Research Teams across Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The postholder will work closely with the Clinical Research Nurses/Midwives, Research Matron and the multidisciplinary team to enhance and support the recruitment to clinical trials, thus facilitating a high-quality research service. The post holder would support both commercial, non-commercial and NIHR portfolio clinical research. The post holder will be expected to interact with patients and their families in relation to the requirements of the clinical trials and be able to work without supervision in some areas. Advert Working mainly with the ID, ICU, Vascular, ENT, Head and neck Research Team within Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust you will be responsible for providing both administrative and clinical support. To assist in the evaluation of patient eligibility, in liaison with other appropriate health care professionals for clinical trial entry, involving the co-ordination of pre-study tests, obtaining results/X-Rays/scans etc. and arranging appropriate appointments as per clinical trial protocols To assist the co-ordination of the patient’s journey through the clinical trial protocol e.g. requisition and organization of any necessary investigations, procurement of patient notes and reports. You will work mainly within a designated Research Team, with an expectation to work with other specialties to help provide support for clinical trial participants ensuring a high quality research service. The post holder will be expected to interact with patients and their families in relation to the requirements of the clinical trials and be able to work without supervision at times. To ensure that all trial data is submitted to the study sponsor within the specified time constraints To provide administrative support for research nurses as required Ensure that office and clinic supplies are adequately ordered and stored for the smooth running of the trials. To ensure that all members of the multidisciplinary team are aware of the current trials portfolio. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
