Responsibilities:
* Act as a first point of contact for escalations related to inbound and outbound logistics.
* Maintain relationships with external suppliers.
* Create and update replenishment plans from external warehouses.
* Supervise the daily work of team members reporting directly to the supervisor.
* Resolve issues in SAP related to inbound and outbound deliveries.
* Monitor and update warehouse stock levels.
* Coach team members on SAP and logistics-related questions.
* Prepare and submit reports.
Qualifications:
* Essential: GCSE standard in Maths and English.
* Essential: Fork Lift Truck Driving Licence.
* Desirable: Graduate qualification in logistics or warehousing.
* Desirable: Leadership or management training or demonstrable experience.
* Experience in import/export logistics and/or warehousing.
* Experience using SAP.
* Previous experience managing logistics/warehousing staff, including resource planning, performance, and attendance management.
* Customer service experience is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
* Systematic approach with the ability to develop and improve processes.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks under pressure.
* Willingness to learn and develop skills.
* Excellent IT skills, familiar with Microsoft 365.
* Ability to organize and plan work and data effectively.
* Ability to follow directions and adhere to policies.
* Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
