This position is part-time, based in Ilfracombe, with a starting salary of £26,106 per annum, increasing to £28,653 with annual increments. The role involves working 20 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary starting at £14,111 and rising to £15,488. Training will be held at Police Headquarters, Middlemoor, Exeter, requiring travel to and from Exeter during the training period.
Role Responsibilities include:
* Being the first point of contact for reported crimes and incidents at the front office and via non-urgent communication channels.
* Providing initial responses, advice, and guidance to the public and agencies, including signposting to partner organizations when necessary.
* Accurately recording information and supporting witnesses and victims with reassurance, escalating issues when appropriate.
The Police Enquiry Office operates Monday to Saturday. Candidate requirements:
