About the Role:
As the Infrastructure Team Leader, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our client’s IT infrastructure. You will lead a team of talented IT professionals to ensure seamless operations and develop strategies to improve security, scalability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a small team of technical experts and third parties to deliver high-quality work.
* Configure and manage hybrid Azure estate including IaaS and PaaS solutions.
* Proficiency in VMware vSphere and experience with Hyper-V solutions (Dell Hardware).
* Strong Microsoft Office 365 administration skills, including hybrid Azure deployments.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows network services such as AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, RDP, and security.
* Understanding of WAN and LAN topologies, Cisco/Meraki Switch configurations.
* Experience managing Firewall configurations and network security solutions (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClientEMS, FortiToken).
* Backup and disaster recovery skills, including Business Continuity planning (Veeam, Zerto, 365 Backup).
* Knowledge of data security principles, especially in regulated environments.
* Managing cyber security estates, external penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing private and public cloud datacenters.
* Level 3 Service Management Framework qualification and ITIL knowledge.
* Relevant technical certifications.
