Job Purpose: Managing the sales, promotions, stock and intake to maximise brand profitability. Supporting the Business Manager with appropriate analysis to help them make the right decisions to drive brand and store performance. Team Size: 5 Overview of Key Accountabilities: Effectively manages the merchandising teams resources and workload in order to efficiently achieve the department's business plan Leads and develops the team through coaching and training to meet the department strategy Lead seasonal budgeting/planning, taking into account the impact of macro-economics, customer mindset, holidays and calendars etc Own open-to-buy management to ensure inventory levels are in line with business goal and aligning with BBW Plans and coordinates commercial promotional calendar accounting for profit and Next technical restrictions Manage in-bound receipts in close partnership with BBW planning team Working closely with DC/Logistics to ensure timely delivery and outbound metrics Serve as regulatory liaison, understanding newness and ensure compliance Own internal reporting on sales, inventory positions, category performance, promo performance, seasonal highlights, etc Manage weekly/monthly sales plans Oversee allocations and availability Oversee product set up Ensure product pricing and product line up is commercial and profitable Own and communicate localization, product nuances to BBW planning team Meet with BBW partners on a weekly basis to analyse key business drivers & identify risks & opportunities to be converted into actions. Work closely with the Ecommerce team on : Promo execution Supporting with optimization Supporting with reviewing customer experience and journey Maintain the marketing calander so Online, PR and Retail Marketing teams are clear on the monthly key priorities Maintain the cost tracker for marketing, expenses, travel etc to allow the Business Manager to make the right commercial decisions Your Talent… At least 2 years operating at Merchandiser level Proven experience managing and developing a team. Experience forming new and maintaining existing relationships with external brand partners. Able to stay calm under pressure and motivate the team through challenging periods of change. Shows innovation by challenging existing processes and practices to drive the business forward. Strong knowledge of the competition's product offer, pricing strategy and trading activity.
