Responsibilities
* Create lessons that last, using a tailored learning approach alongside our smart learning tool – Compass – to empower members to overcome challenges and see progress.
* Build lasting relationships in small group sessions at a 16:1 ratio, inspiring children to be fearless learners.
* Support members through the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation, celebrating meaningful progress and achievements.
Qualifications
* Achieved a grade 5 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level or equivalent; predicted grades accepted if results within next 3 months.
* Age 16 or over and right to work in the UK.
* Confidence to teach children ages 4-16 covering national curriculum, 11+ entrance exam, and GCSE content.
* Physical ability to get to the Cheltenham centre and be contracted to work at least 6 hours a week over 2 different days between 3:30 pm and 4 pm on weekdays.

Pay Rates & Progression
* Under 18: £8 per hour
* 18-20: £10.05 per hour
* 21+: £12.25 per hour (additional 50p per hour if working inside the M25)
Earn more as you progress: base rate increases annually based on total hours tutored.
