Role Overview
We are seeking a Forensic Investigations Analyst to join our monitoring and intelligence team. This role will focus on identifying, analysing, and reporting on black market gambling businesses that target licensed markets. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting GAMRS's Early Warning System and providing actionable insights to operators, regulators, and accredited suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct forensic investigations into black market gambling operators and affiliates.
* Collect, analyse, and monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web data, and other information sources.
* Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed reports on investigations for internal stakeholders, regulators, and industry partners.
* Monitor trends in illegal gambling activity and produce intelligence briefings.
* Maintain and update GAMRS's database of black market operators and suppliers.
* Support quarterly and annual evaluations of suppliers with forensic data analysis.
* Collaborate with compliance, policy, and research teams to ensure insights inform wider strategic priorities.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Knowledge of gambling markets, online platforms, or financial crime investigations.
* Experience using OSINT tools and investigative techniques.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing professional reports.
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience in gambling regulation, financial services, law enforcement, investigative journalism or cyber investigations.
* Understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) processes and international compliance frameworks.
* Familiarity with digital forensics or cybercrime monitoring tools.
* Multilingual skills to support global monitoring.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
