Support the development of GB’s integrated strategy and lead and support key transformation initiatives

Role Responsibilities:
Top Accountabilities
 5. Be a key member of the GB Strategy and Transformation team, responsible for creating the roadmap for accelerated growth
 6. Contribute to the development of the GB Strategy, based on deep insight of consumers, shoppers, customers, macro context and Diageo brands, operating model and P&L
 7. Identify approximate costs/investment required to deliver the strategy in order to build a full cost and benefit business case
 8. Collaborate strongly with business leaders (e.g. leaders by category or channel) to ensure that their inputs and insights are integrated into our strategies
 9. Ensure all of our strategies are informed by broad external perspective and insight, leveraging relationships with external partners as required
 10. Secure approval/sign-off of strategies created by agreed decision maker (e.g. market GM etc) to confirm commitment to execution of the strategy
 11. Continually work to embed the defined strategy across the GB business and communicate to stakeholders in Europe/Group as appropriate.
 12. Lead and support transformation initiatives that are critical to the delivery of the GB strategy, working cross-functionally to deliver change.
Experience / skills required:
We are looking for a well-rounded analytical and passionate person with >5 years’ experience within Strategy, Commercial, Marketing and/or Finance within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. The right individual must bring:
 13. Exceptional analytical and insight development skills to deeply assess the marketplace and understand dynamics from a customer, consumer, category and financial perspective
 14. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to be able to bring the strategic choices to life and fully engage business leaders
 15. Extensive experience of collaborating with, influencing and aligning with senior leaders, and leading and working as part of project teams
 16. An infectious passion for crafting integrated strategies and leading and supporting transformation initiatives
