        We're redefining what's possible in the world of autonomous air logistics - creating dependable, self-flying cargo aircraft that connect people to the things they need most.
Our advanced long-range, heavy-lift UAV platform has already proven itself in some of the world's harshest environments - delivering medical supplies, supporting wildfire operations, surveying in Antarctica, and carrying out humanitarian aid missions across Europe and beyond.
This is a rare opportunity to join a pioneering team that's shaping the future of unmanned aviation and taking UAV technology from prototype to real‑world global deployment.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Test Engineer to take a leading role in validating and proving the performance, safety, and reliability of our cutting‑edge UAV systems.
You’ll plan, execute, and report on test campaigns across structural, electro‑mechanical, and propulsion systems - guiding projects from concept through to certification. This is a hands‑on, technically challenging role where your work will directly enable next‑generation flight operations.
What You'll Do
 * Develop and deliver detailed test plans and qualification procedures from system requirements.
 * Conduct and oversee ground and flight tests to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance.
 * Design and build test rigs, jigs, and fixtures for component and subsystem validation.
 * Support integration and verification of mechanical, propulsion, and control systems.
 * Analyse and feed results back into design, driving product improvements.
 * Produce test documentation and reports to support certification activities.
 * Collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Flight Test teams to deliver safe, efficient test campaigns.
 * Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all test operations.
About You
 * Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent).
 * 5+ years' experience in aerospace, UAVs, or similar complex system testing.
 * Strong knowledge of test system design, instrumentation, and data acquisition (DAQ).
 * Hands‑on experience with electro‑mechanical, structural, or propulsion system testing (internal combustion experience desirable).
 * Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks (for fixture design).
 * Experience with environmental testing (temperature, vibration, humidity, EMC/EMI).
 * Understanding of aerospace testing standards (RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, DEF STAN 00-35).
 * Proven ability to diagnose issues and collaborate with design teams for resolution.
 * Eligible to work in the UK, with ability to obtain security clearance if required.
You'll Fit Right In If You're
 * Analytical, methodical, and detail-driven.
 * A self-starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
 * Passionate about aviation technology and testing innovation.
 * A clear communicator who builds credibility across disciplines.
Why Join Us?
 * Work on cutting‑edge UAV technology transforming logistics and humanitarian operations.
 * Join a mission‑driven organisation making a tangible global impact.
 * Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary engineering team at the forefront of autonomous flight.
 * Enjoy excellent opportunities for career growth and professional development.
