Overview
We have a lovely part time nanny role available in Morpeth, Northumberland, caring for two children aged 4 and 6. This is a sole charge role whilst the parents work from home in a separate office.
Responsibilities
* School pick up at 3.15pm (a 10 minute walk from their home).
* Encouraging the children with homework and providing educational activities.
* Taking the children to the park and meal preparation for the family.
* Before school collection, ensure the children’s rooms and school things are organised.
* Take care of the children’s laundry and prep and plan afterschool activities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal person will be proactive, confident, use their own initiative, and enjoy helping children with educational milestones and learning. The family are foodies and would love someone who shares the same passion, who can teach the children about food and cooking.

* Location: Morpeth, Northumberland (townhouse with a small garden).
* Minimum experience: 3 years childcare preferred.
* Qualifications: enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid.
* Hours: Term Time 1pm–5pm; School holidays 8.45am–4.30pm; Monday to Friday.
* Pets: No
* Driving: Yes, a car can be provided for use on duty.

* Pay: £21,000 Gross Per Annum

Requirements for Roles Involving Children
For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up-to-date enhanced eDBS certificate registered on the Update Service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, and a minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details. One reference must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. Personal insurance is also recommended.
