B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer
(MUST BE) Bombardier Global & Challenger Type-Rated
Prestigious Luxury-Carrier Headquarters – Luton Airport
Are you the engineer who can look at a Global 7500 or Challenger 350 and know every rivet, LRU and cable bundle by heart? If so, one of Europe's most discreet ultra-luxury aircraft operators wants YOU to keep its world-class fleet flawless.
Who we are hiring for:
A name you won't see on tail fins, but one that appears on the manifests of heads-of-state, royalty, A-list entertainers and Fortune 50 CEOs. Their immaculately presented Bombardier fleet is based in a private, purpose-built hangar complex at Luton Airport – a hangar that feels more like a five-star members' club than a maintenance line. You will join a hand-picked team whose daily mission is to deliver absolute technical perfection with zero drama.
The role:
• Base: Private HQ, Luton Airport (no airline queues, no crowds – your own parking spot is 30 m from the aircraft).
• Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 07:00-19:00 day shift – real work-life balance.
•
Fleet: Bombardier Global & Challenger series (300/350, 604/605, Global Express/5000/6000/7500).
• Workscope: Line & light-base maintenance, A-checks, defect rectification, cabin IFT & avionics upgrades, pre-VVIP flight prep. Everything you do is visible to the most discerning passengers on Earth.
What you bring:
• EASA/CAA B1 Licence with at least one Bombardier Global OR Challenger type rating (both is the golden ticket).
• Corporate / VIP aircraft experience – polished, discreet, customer-centric mindset.
• Meticulous paperwork habits and a signature that auditors never question.
What they give you
• Salaries that rise with every type rating you hold:
– L0-B1 (no type) £63,960
– L1-B1 (1 type) £71,017
– L2-B1 (2 types) £72,488
– L3-B1 (3+ types) £76,724
* £2,500 shift allowance every single year
* Junior Management Pension Scheme (rare outside the airlines).
* Single-cover BUPA private medical for typed engineers.
* 21 days holiday → 24.5 after 5 years, plus Holiday Purchase and a "Happy Birthday" extra day.
* Staff travel discounts, onsite parking, and the quiet satisfaction of working on the most exclusive ramp in the UK.
International candidates:
EASA/CAA sponsorship is available for exceptional engineers – your talent is more important than your postcode.
Send a current CV + copy of your licence (essential) today.
Because when the aircraft you maintain flies prime ministers and movie stars, "good enough" is never enough.
