Responsibilities
* Support the Claims Manager – Claims to plan and deliver robust systems and processes for ensuring that all Claims are effectively managed to minimise their financial impact and ensure remedial action contributes to the reduction of clinical and financial risks.
* Manage your own caseload and be proactive and dynamic in ensuring that lessons from Claims are learned and shared widely, contributing to continuous service improvement and the highest standards of patient care.
* Support and update the Claims Manager – Claims in the day‑to‑day management of Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury Claims, RTC and Inquests to ensure that claims are managed in accordance with Health Board’s policies, the Welsh Office Circular Welsh Health Circular (97) 17 and the Civil Procedure Rules.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Relevant experience in claims management or legal services within the health sector.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Capability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; however, speaking English and/or Welsh is acceptable.
