We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapists to join our children's therapy service in the Pennine Locality at LSCFT.
We are specifically looking for an individual with passion and drive to deliver an effective service to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disabilities (e.g. developmental coordination disorder, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, autistic spectrum disorder) who are experiencing difficulties with the development of their fine motor and coordination skills. We also currently offer environmental assessment for this client group who are experiencing safety related concerns due to challenging behaviours.
We are investing in developing the clinical care pathway for this client group to ensure it achieves the best clinical outcomes for the population of children and young people in need of guidance, support and therapeutic intervention.

Responsibilities
* Deliver on the pathway and contribute to its ongoing development.
* Provide a service across the Pennine locality via a combination of Telepractice and face to face appointments.
* Support pathway development alongside the Clinical Lead, support junior staff members and students.
* Use a range of assessment tools (both standardised and non-standardised) and treatment approaches.
* Support the delivery of the clinical care pathway, contributing to its ongoing development.
Qualifications and Experience
* Suitably trained occupational therapists with experience delivering services for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
* Experience in a range of assessment tools and treatment approaches.
* Good understanding of child development and the challenges faced by this client group.
* Motivation to invest in own development and support junior staff.
* Willingness to participate in professional and clinical supervision, shadowing and co-working opportunities, in-service training, professional forums, trust wide AHP research group and relevant external training courses.
