Purchase Ledger Assistant urgently required, to work mornings 8.30-12.30 or 2.5 days per week. Working for a manufacturing company based in Southend. Must be available immediately and have practical purchase ledger experience. Pegasus experience would be an advantage but will train. This role is temporary for aprox 8-10 weeks with possibility of becoming permanent. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining effective financial records. Duties * Maintain and manage the purchase ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. * Process invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers. * Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and other financial records. Skills * Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures. * Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
