Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour
The primary duties of a Gas/Diesel Technician/Mechanic include performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify faults, analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain records of services for clients and the company.
* Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.
* Install emissions control systems in accordance with pollution control regulations.
* Operate hydraulic jacks or hoists to safely raise and lower vehicles and equipment.
* Uphold engine safety standards in accordance with federal and state vehicle requirements.
* Inspect diesel vehicles and identify issues through diagnostic tests, test drives, physical examinations, and visual inspections.
Requirements:
* ASE certification.
* CDL certification (We will train).
* Self-motivated and professional attitude.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* At least 2 years of fleet or dealership experience.
