Job Description: As a Cafe Assistant at The Lighthouse Mumbles, you will play a key role in ensuring that our café runs smoothly and that our customers enjoy a top-notch experience. You’ll assist with a variety of tasks, including serving customers and running food and drink orders, keeping the café clean and organised, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Assist with setting up and clearing tables. Take customer orders and answer any menu-related questions. Ensure that the café is clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the day. Support team members in delivering great service and maintaining a positive atmosphere. Handle cash and card transactions efficiently. Assist with opening and closing procedures as required. Qualifications: Previous experience in a café or customer service environment is preferred but not essential. A friendly and approachable attitude with excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and safety. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
