Role Details:
Principal Process Engineer – Cargo Fleet, Middlesbrough
Altrad are currently on the lookout for a Principal Process Engineer to join the business, to lead the Process Engineering on projects, and support the Process Manager as required.
Key Deliverables:
* To be responsible for the delivery of all Process Engineering project activities and deliverable within set budgets and schedules
* To deliver EPC Projects
* To produce and review specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports and design calculations; ensuring that they conform to engineering quality, competence, and project management systems
* To develop engineering philosophies, equipment specifications and monitor project/ contractor/vendor compliance to these
* To provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
* To attend client meetings and communicate issues with other engineers
Key Requirements:
* You will have a minimum of 15 years general engineering experience, preferably at least 10 years in the Process and Energy sector focusing on the design office
* You will have well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering design programs
* You will have excellent understanding of British and common international standards in the Process and Energy sector
* You will demonstrate good organisational and time management skills
* You will have a capacity for persistence, resilience and patience in a sometimes-challenging environment.
