Resuscitation Practitioner (Band 6)
Location: Central London
Employment: Full-term, permanent (Monday – Friday)
Flexible Working Options:
* 5 days a week (40 hrs a week)
* 4 days a week (32 hrs a week)
* 5 days a week: £45,000 – £50,000 per year
* 4 days a week: £36,000 – £40,000 per year

Role overview:
As a Resuscitation Practitioner, you’ll play a crucial role in clinical emergencies, providing leadership and mentoring, and participating in acute clinical shifts.
* Remain clinically acute by participating in external acute clinical shifts
* Take a leadership role in clinical emergencies within the unit
* Use ALS instructor status to develop resuscitation skills within the team
* Ensure ALS/ILS staff comply with RCUK requirements through monthly assessments
* Oversee and document emergency system checks, ensuring accuracy
* Deliver robust clinical skills training
The Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience as a registered Nurse, Operating Department Practitioner or Paramedic working with the unwell adult
* Experience with managing/participating in cardiac arrests and medical emergencies
* Must hold ALS or ILS instructor qualification
* Nurses with an A&E or Resuscitation background are highly desirable
