Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Technician role Reporting to the Electrical Engineer you will: Support electrical maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment is correctly operated, maintained, and faults are promptly addressed. Assist in planning and supervising shutdowns, including preparation of method statements and risk assessments. Investigate and resolve electrical faults, ensuring timely diagnosis and repair across plant systems. Ensure availability of emergency repair services, including out-of-hours breakdown response. Support calibration activities, ensuring tools and equipment meet required standards. Assist in managing plant computing and communication systems, supporting system reliability. Help coordinate specialist maintenance contracts, under the guidance of the Engineer. Contribute to spare parts management, including testing, storage, and recommendations for stock.
