Media / Film Studies Teacher – Secondary School, Redbridge

Location: Redbridge, East London
Position: Long-Term (Full-Time)
Pay: £160 - £260 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP / After Half Term

Are you a passionate and creative Media or Film Studies Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity?
A high-performing secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join their dynamic Humanities & Creative Arts department.

About the Role:

1. Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in GCSE and A-Level Media and/or Film Studies.
2. Inspire students to think critically about media, film, and digital communication.
3. Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department with a strong focus on creativity and achievement.
4. Plan and assess in line with curriculum standards, ensuring students reach their full potential.
5. Opportunity to contribute to extra-curricular film projects and media clubs.

Candidate Requirements:

10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
11. Specialism or strong background in Media Studies and/or Film Studies.
12. Experience teaching at KS4 and KS5 desirable.
13. Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
14. Passionate about fostering creativity, critical thinking, and digital literacy.
