Private Client Paralegal
Location: Harrogate
Position: Full-time, office-based
Salary: Dependent on experience
A well-established and respected law firm in Harrogate is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its busy and supportive Private Client team on a full-time, in-person basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with private client experience who is looking to develop their career within a high-quality and client-focused environment.
The Role
You will support fee earners across a broad range of private client matters, including:
* Assisting with the drafting of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Supporting probate and estate administration files
* Preparing documentation and correspondence
* Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
* Dealing with third parties such as HMRC, the Land Registry and financial institutions
* Maintaining accurate case files and using case management systems
* General administrative support to the Private Client team
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Private Client Paralegal or Legal Assistant
* Good understanding of Wills, Probate and Private Client procedures
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable working in a busy, office-based environment
* Able to work well as part of a team and use initiative when required
* Strong IT skills, including experience with case management systems
