I am looking for a Personal Assistant to work with me for 18 hours a week hopefully for Mon/ Wed/ Friday specifically.
About Myself
I’m a 11 year old girl living with my family in the Merthyr area. I am a social and I enjoy technology very much. I try to be very independent, but with ASD Autism spectrum disorder I use pecs normally but also have my own words for some things
I seek sensory stimulation Mum thinks I am obsessed with my iPad, which we are trying to limit. I also like blankets, cushions, towels, tags, play dough anything messy
I don’t like the word “No” and like to be in control. Mum gives me a choice of 2 or 3 items that makes me feel that I have some control
Tasks and Duties
I would like a Personal Assistant to take me out to be more social and have independence.
Type of Person Required
I would like someone kind, friendly and patient.
Awareness/experience of working with ASD individuals is highly desirable.
Someone with a car and driving licence.
Over 18 years of age
Working Hours / Pay of Rate
18 hours hopefully for Mon/ Wed/ Friday specifically
£14.50 per hour and mileage expense of £0.40 per mile.
About The job
Salary Frequency – Calendar Monthly.
Successful applicant will be subject to a three-month trial period.
Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS police check at no cost to yourself.
Training
Full training will be provided by parents.
