The Exciting Role A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an Extra-Curricular Assistant to join our Extra Curricular team, based between Nelson & Colne College and Accrington & Rossendale College campuses. If you have a passion for activity leadership working with young people this is a great opportunity. We would welcome applications from those with creative, outdoor or sports activity leadership backgrounds. You will be directly involved in the planning and delivery of a range of extra- curricular activities to our learners and must have an enthusiastic and energetic approach to your work. What You Will Be Doing:• You will be working closely with colleagues in the extra C team to plan and deliver a range of extra curricular sessions for our learners• You will liaise with external organisations to plan trips, visits and visiting speakers What We Are Looking For:• Someone with a passion for personal development and the energy to work with learners from a range of backgrounds • Somebody with activity leadership experience able to plan and lead engaging and safe extracurricular activity sessions• A great team worker with the ability to use their own initiative and problem solve.
