We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Groundworkers / Drainage professionals to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of groundworks tasks, with a specific focus on drainage installation and maintenance. The ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience in drainage activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Excavate and prepare sites for drainage installations. Reading and following technical specifications, drawings, and blueprints to guide their work Install drainage systems, including pipes, Preformed concrete manhole rings, pumping chambers, attenuation tanks, soakaways, and related components. Familiar / previous experience with associated temporary works i.e Manhole boxes, drag boxes and similar products Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of drainage systems. Collaborate with site managers and other workers to ensure effective project delivery. Follow all safety regulations and procedures, adhering to best practices on-site. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working condition. Assist with other groundwork activities as needed. The position requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. The job type is full-time with potential for overtime as needed. Requirements Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience as a Groundworker with a focus on drainage installation and maintenance. If operating any ride on plant such as dumpers and rollers candidates will require safety critical medical and fit to work certificate. Valid CSCS card is required; additional qualifications in drainage or groundworks are a plus. Strong knowledge of groundworks processes, including safe practices and techniques. Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
