We’re looking for an Application Support Developer to join our Level 2 Development Support team—helping to keep our internally developed systems running smoothly and supporting the millions of deliveries we handle every week.

What you’ll be doing
As an Application Support Developer, you will play a key role in keeping our critical applications performing at their best. You will:
1. Provide 2nd line support on complex, bespoke internal applications
2. Take ownership of challenging issues and drive them through to resolution
3. Work across a broad range of technical tasks, contributing to incident, problem, and knowledge management
4. Join our on-call rota, offering technical support 24/7, days a year
5. Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd‑party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
6. Help maintain and improve production and internal environments—with a focus on automation
7. Support the smooth transition of new features and applications into Production and IT Service
8. Build strong working relationships across the business and with external partners
9. Contribute to continuous improvement through problem management and service evolution
10. Share knowledge and help drive a “shift‑left” approach to enhance support capability across teams
What you’ll need
Qualifications
11. A degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Knowledge & Experience
12. Previous experience in an IT support role is desirable
Technical & People Skills
13. Experience supporting cloud-based IT systems
14. A passion for improving user experience and reducing resolution times
15. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
16. Coding/SQL experience is essential for this role.
