Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Corby and surrounding areas
Hours: School hours (Monday–Friday)
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a committed and empathetic 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across Corby in both home and school settings. This role involves working with students who may require additional academic support or need help re-engaging with education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions
* Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEN or additional needs
* Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles
* Track progress and provide regular feedback
* Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and confidence
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learners
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
* Experience with SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision
* Ability to deliver core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science
