Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. This role is essential in assisting teachers with classroom management, implementing care plans, and providing individual support to students as needed.
Duties
* Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson materials and classroom activities.
* Support students with their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance.
* Help maintain an organised and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Implement care plans for students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual requirements are met.
* Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their participation and engagement in class activities.
* Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Assist in the use of IT resources for educational purposes, ensuring that technology is utilised effectively in the classroom.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills are vital for interacting with students, teachers, and parents.
* Familiarity with IT tools and resources that enhance learning experiences is advantageous.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities to help guide and motivate students during activities.
