Hygiene Operative - Nights role at Sofina Foods Europe

The Role
Sofina Foods is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Hygiene Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will lead a hygiene team, ensuring all site equipment and environments are maintained to the highest standards in line with company and customer codes of practice.
Working closely with production, technical, and engineering departments, you will play a key role in maintaining hygiene compliance and driving improvements where possible. This is a leadership role that requires strong organisational skills, a quality-driven mindset, and a collaborative approach.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 18:00 - 02:00
Pay: £11.95 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the hygiene team to deliver high standards across site
* Ensure cleaning and hygiene operations meet company and customer requirements
* Work closely with production, technical, and engineering teams to maintain compliance
* Identify and implement improvements in hygiene practices and processes
* Monitor hygiene performance, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
* Support site audits and inspections as required
* Promote a strong safety and food quality culture within the team
The Ideal Candidate
This role is suited to someone with knowledge of food hygiene standards and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Knowledge of hygiene standards and practices within food manufacturing
* A basic understanding of food microbiology
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Excellent attention to detail with a quality-first approach
* A positive, “can do” attitude and a team-focused mindset
* The ability to work collaboratively across departments
