Job Title - Transport Administrator
Location - Doncaster
Salary - £28,080
Working Hours - 11am - 7pm
Elevation Recruitment are working with a business based in Doncaster to support with the recruitment of a Transport Administrator to support in the operations within a large distribution centre. This is an exciting time to join a growing business.
Key duties as a Transport Administrator include:
- Develop relationships with transport providers
- Align transport schedules with orders that need dispatching
- Arranging POD's
- Checking daily transport costs
- Managing transport delays, damages or complaints
- Work with the Transport Planner to support with admin duties
- Provide ETAs to customers
- Support with any customer service enquiries
The client is looking for an individual who:
- Is a self starter
- Can be hands on and go find a solution to problems
- Is comfortable liaising with the warehouse operations team (including wearing hi vis and steel toe cap boots!)
- Confident dealing with warehouse systems
The client is looking for a start in Jan 2026 to support with the implementation of the new team. Interviews will be held in December.
