Our client, a highly regarded and growing accountancy firm in the Warrington area, is seeking a motivated Accounts Semi Senior / Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. The Role: What You’ll Be Doing As part of a dynamic accounts team, you will take ownership of a varied workload, supporting clients across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Assisting with (or leading, depending on level) audit assignments Preparation of management accounts and financial reports Handling corporation tax computations and returns Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries Supporting junior team members (for Senior-level candidates) Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations What We’re Looking For We are keen to speak with candidates who meet the following criteria: 2–3 years’ UK accountancy practice experience (essential) Currently studying towards, or part-qualified in, ACA or ACCA Experience preparing accounts for owner-managed businesses Audit exposure desirable but not essential Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) Good understanding of UK financial reporting standards Excellent communication and client-facing skills Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Why Join This Firm?
