FLT Production Operator
Location: Deeside
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (Temporary Ongoing)
Pay: £13.50/hour + £136.39 weekly shift allowance (hourly equivalent of £17.14 per hour)
Start Date: ASAP
Shifts: Rotating 3-shift pattern (Days & Nights)

- 14:00-22:00
- 22:00-06:00
About the Role
We're recruiting for an experienced FLT Production Operator to join a leading global paints and coatings manufacturer at their Deeside site. You'll play a key role in supporting the production and filling operations, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate FLT and support filling of finished products
* Assist production during peak periods
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Proactively identify and resolve production issues
* Meet production targets and deadlines
* Minimise downtime and report equipment failures
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HSE standards
* Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements
* Implement technical instructions and rework materials as needed
* Participate in Tier 1 production meetings
Requirements
* GCSEs including Maths & English (or equivalent)
* Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
* Skilled in operating production machinery
* Knowledge of hazardous substances and plant operations
* Strong communication skills and team player
* Experience in paint or chemical production (desirable)
