Care Assistant – We are looking to hire a Care Assistant for 36 hours per week. Experience preferred but not essential as full training can be given. Shift hours are 8am to 8pm. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work alternate weekends. Basic pay is national living wage. You will need to have an interest in mental health conditions and be passionate about providing good quality individual care to adults at risk.
Established in 1985, Miramar is an independent nursing home registered for 28 beds. It is a large Victorian house with many original features retained, offering residents a homely feel and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We employ a small but fantastic staff team who work together with residents, their families and friends and partner professionals to provide a calm, supportive environment and family atmosphere. It can be a very challenging job but also very diverse – no two days are the same. Staff are very supportive of each other and we all help out where and when we can. Our aim is to provide care and support to an individual so that they can live the life they choose to the best of their ability and at the end of the day can say they had a good day.
