About the role
Our Capital Allowances team is market-leading, providing advisory, operational, technological and compliance services to many clients across various sectors, with a focus on maximising tax relief on capital expenditure. We advise across all aspects of capital allowances across a broad range of clients with the team, and our clients, all across the country.
Our team is driven by deep expertise combined with curious minds working together to provide innovative solutions to navigate challenges.
What your days will look like
As part of the team, you'll continue to build your tax technical skills as you work with a range of clients and teams, whilst at the same time have the opportunity to develop your operational consulting and technology skills as you support clients in how they deal with the day-to-day practicalities of meeting the requirements of an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
Key responsibilities
1. Client relationship and business development - Build relationships with clients and collaborate with PwC teams to identify opportunities for clients to maximise their capital allowances claims.
2. Innovative solutions and high-quality advice - Provide tailored advice on capital allowances across all reliefs and develop bespoke solutions for clients to optimise their tax relief on capital expenditures.
3. Team leadership and development - Manage and mentor team members, foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to ensure high-quality service delivery.
4. Industry engagement and continuous learning - Stay updated on legislation changes related to capital allowances and leverage technology to solve client problems and improve service efficiency.
This role is for you if
5. Proficient in capital allowances technicalities and analysis, with experience dealing with a range of clients and various scenarios within the property life cycle.
6. Strong analytical skills to identify and maximise tax relief opportunities for clients.
7. Effective communicator, both written and oral, committed to teamwork and delivering excellent client service.
8. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
9. Strong project management, prioritisation, and self-organisation skills.
