Why Join KPMG as an In-House Overseas Tax Manager?
This role is within KPMG UK’s Internal Partnership Tax Team, responsible for all tax matters related to KPMG UK. Specifically, it involves reviewing and advising on overseas tax and reporting requirements for colleagues traveling or working overseas.
What will you be doing?
* Advising the business on overseas tax issues related to business travel and managing compliance.
* Overseeing work of assistant managers and assistants.
* Assessing overseas corporate tax filing positions and preparing relevant reports.
* Collaborating with the wider team on employment tax, indirect tax, and social security matters.
* Working with overseas advisers to ensure compliance with tax and regulatory issues.
* Managing overseas tax compliance filings and liaising with member firms.
* Reviewing responses related to overseas work requests and implementing policy changes.
* Contributing to process improvements and reporting technology development.
* Coaching and managing team members, including training and delegation.
What will you need to do it?
* Qualified CTA or ACA
* Experience in corporate or international tax roles
* Strong understanding of overseas tax issues
* Excellent project management and communication skills
* Ability to deal confidently with senior stakeholders
* Teamwork and leadership abilities, including delegation and development of junior staff
* Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel & SharePoint
* Respect for confidentiality
