Leonardo has opportunities for experienced RF Integration and Test Engineers to work on a key sub-system of the Praetorian(Eurofighter Typhoon) Electronic Warfare equipment
Due to the nature of the work on this project you must have the ability to obtain SC Clearance for UK-caveated programmes.

* The opportunity to lead complex sub-system testing and evaluation in a laboratory environment, working with synthetic environments both Hardware-in the loop and software in the loop
* The opportunity to develop mentoring and coaching skills by supporting less experienced engineers as they learn the art and craft of integration and testing
* Close working with the software & hardware teams to develop upgrades for the sub-systems
* Engagement with the end user and customer network to ensure cohesion and suitability of integration activities and timeline
What you’ll do as an RF Integration and Test Engineer:
* Teamwork: You will work alongside like-minded professional engineers in a highly collaborative environment.
* Undertaking testing defined in Acceptance Test Procedures at both the System level and a sub-system level, in a laboratory environment.
* Involvement in investigating technical issues found during the testing activates.
* Lisa with multiple engineering disciplines like Systems, Software, Firmware and Hardware to resolve problems seen when preforming the testing.
* Ensuring evidence accumulation from System-level activity.
* Gain experience of the sub-system functional knowledge to improve system testing.
* Undertake many routine actives without immediate supervision.
* Provide regular status reports to the team in support of the actives.
* Undertake non-routine tasks with some supervision.
What we need from you:
* Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving.
* Has some experience of working effectively within a team.
* Typically, experiences in practical application of technical skills and an understanding of how to perform tasks and schedule they own work.
* Experience of performing test plans, procedures and reports.
* Strong understanding of RF/Microwave engineering (ideally using high power RF ).
* Understanding of how to preform ATP and qualification testing.
* Understanding of how Radar work.
* Proficient using COTS test equipment.
* Understanding of the systems life cycle.
* Has some experience with written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* Experience of working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders of varying seniorities
